The TLR Foundation's first goal was to raise $300,000 to fund a room in the new, state of the art Haematology, Blood & Marrow Transplant ward in Sydney's St Vincent's Hospital. Thanks to some dedicated and fearless fundraisers, and some seriously wonderful donors, they reached their target and The Trace Richey Patient Room took in its first patient in August 2018. But helping patients was only the first stage. TLR has now shifted its focus towards the nurses and have committed to raising $160,000 to establish a scholarship to show our love and gratitude for all they do. The Trace Richey Nursing Scholarship will enable one nurse each year to undertake a Master in Cancer & Haematology taught at the University of Sydney... forever! We are half way there already so please know your support is making a real difference and getting us closer to our new goal with every single dollar raised.
